Located in front of the Church of São João Baptista and overlooking the Quadrado, Elle magazine describes this house as Tropicália Technicolor by the profusion of sunlight, vibrant colors and natural and organic forms that give the house a unique atmosphere. The unique style creates immediate impact from the spacious living room, where scenes of the Quadrado can be seen from the wide windows. The walls are a tropical mix of strong colors (pink, blue, yellow, green and red) and pastel shades. One of the rooms has walls inspired by the paintings in primitive houses of Burkina Faso and curtains created from Indian silk saris. Several works by national and international artists decorate the house, including tapestries and much of the furniture and lamps are unique pieces produced by them, many of them published in design magazines around the world.
Interior and exterior living rooms – in the ideal Bahian lifestyle – are original in the open design of the house and feature sofas, hammocks, a rustic outdoor shower and a vintage bathtub surrounded by cacao trees in the garden.
The guest can also enjoy all the sophisticated set of services provided by Uxua Casa Hotel & Spa.
